Christopher Farmer brings more than three decades of experience in Maine real estate, law, finance, and resort operations to his role as a Broker with Morton & Furbish. A longtime Rangeley and Farmington resident, Christopher has built his career around helping people make confident, well‑informed decisions about property, investment, and land use in western Maine.
Christopher currently serves part of his time as In‑House Counsel for Arctaris Saddleback, where he advises on real estate, development, permitting, and operational matters for one of Maine’s most dynamic mountain and lake resort enterprises. He also operates a private law practice in Rangeley to help those with Real Estate, Contract and Estate neesds. His background also includes nearly a decade as Vice President and Regional Commercial Banking Manager at Skowhegan Savings Bank, where he structured complex commercial loans and guided clients through major financial decisions.
Earlier in his career, Christopher spent more than a decade as General Manager of Saddleback Maine Ski & Lake Resort, leading a team of 300 and overseeing all aspects of mountain operations, budgeting, and long‑term planning. He has also worked in commercial brokerage, financial advising, and property management, giving him a uniquely comprehensive understanding of how Maine properties are built, valued, financed, and stewarded.
Clients value Christopher’s deep local knowledge, practical problem‑solving, and clear, straightforward communication. Whether assisting with a lakefront home, a mountain property, a land acquisition, or a complex transaction requiring legal and financial insight, he brings a steady, informed, and service‑driven approach to every relationship.
Christopher holds a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, a B.A. in International Relations, and is a licensed Maine attorney and Maine Real Estate Broker with advanced training in commercial investment (CCIM coursework) and retirement planning (CRPC). Outside of work, he is deeply involved in the Rangeley community and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that makes the region so special.
