WHY SHOULD YOU INVEST IN RANGELEY MAINE ? Heres a little background on our village in the western mountains of Maine. What stands out about Rangeley (compared to all other lake & mtn. towns) is the lack of commercialism. We are a town of 1,200 folks (6,000 in the summer months). We have six major lakes, and dozens of smaller lakes, ponds, rivers and streams for excellent fishing, boating and swimming. We have 3 golf courses, a major ski mountain, xc ski touring center and 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. We have a State Park, and Town Park, tennis courts. marinas, hiking trails (incl. Appalachian Trail), and acres of land filled with wildlife …which attracts many folks as views, hunters, as well as bird watchers. We have a small airport & and air service as well as a Health Center, Dentist, Gym, Library and numerous museums. And the town is filled with quaint shops, restaurants, a movie theater and bowling alley. It is a true 4-season paradise…and everywhere one drives, there are views of lakes and mountains. All in all, Rangeley is a very special place on this earth.
